Access your test results

If you have access to your personal health record in your NHS App, you may be able to see your test results online. Find out more about personal health records.

If you have questions about test results in your GP health record, contact your GP surgery at 020 7700 9700. Please call between 13:00 and 14:00 as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request.

When you attend for a test of any kind you should be told how long you should expect to wait for the results.

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.

If your test has been carried out at a Clinic or Hospital please call the Clinic or Hospital for the result, as we cannot action tests which have been requested by other Clinicians out with the practice. If the consultant’s secretary or colleague inform you they will send the results to your GP, explain that you want the results from the specialist who arranged them, who is in by far the best place to give appropriate advice.

If you ring the surgery, reception will ask you for some personal details when calling, this is to confirm your identity. They have the right to refuse the release of medical information if they feel that it does not pertain to the person calling. We hope that our patients find our high standards of confidentiality satisfactory with regard to releasing this type of information.
